Corporate Seated Massage
£5.00 per 10 minutes
Corporate Massage is an incredibly versatile way of incorporating some relaxation and wellbeing into your working day. The seated massage is based around an acupressure routine, working with main meridian lines along the body and easing muscular tensions around common posture pain points.
The routine can last anywhere from 5-20 minutes long and is performed over clothes and doesn't require any oils. This makes seated massage simple and easy for the workplace, yet incredibly effective at calming both the mind and body. The massage is performed with the client sitting on a comfortable, specialised massage chair, which is pictured below. The massage chair is fully adjustable, meaning it is ideal to suit a wide range of clients for maximum comfort during the massage session.

Why should I consider corporate massage for my workplace?
There are many benefits of massage and bringing this into the workplace can maximise these benefits, having a domino effect on the overall success of the business. (For more benefits associated with massage please click HERE.)
According to HSE.gov.uk from the Labour Force Survey, in the working year 2018-2019 in the United Kingdom there were:
-
498,000 workers struggling with musculoskeletal disorders connected with work
-
6.9 Million working days lost because of these musculoskeletal disorders
Whilst it is encouraging to hear that this is following a downward trend in more recent years, it's effects have far reaching consequences on many different aspects of working relations, business profits and staffing levels.
The seated massage focuses on the client's back, neck and arms and can be provided in your workplace, without the need to travel to a clinic or take extra time out of your busy day. The sessions can either be given in client's lunch breaks, or in allocated portions during the day.
Along with the physical benefits, massage can help to lower stress levels, boost mood, release natural painkillers in the body, improve concentration and enhance general wellbeing. All of this can help to prevent high stress and anxiety levels, an important initiative within any workplace.
These benefits received from a massage session can increase staff morale, productivity and job satisfaction.
